The anticipated design changes mark the beginning of a new era for these popular series. This partnership with PCGS allows MintDirect® Premier with PCGS FirstStrike® 2021 Silver Eagles in their sealed packaging to remain eligible for the FirstStrike® designation if submitted to PCGS for grading long after new FirstStrike®-eligible coins are typically off the market. The U.S. Mint does not sell bullion coins directly to the public. Instead, they distribute their coins to a handful of authorized purchasers, like APMEX, who then sell the coins to the public. Coin Highlights: Each coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver. Final year of the classic design! Packaged in RF-welded plastic polymer case (2 1/2" x 3 1/4"), protecting the coin's finish, with included authentication card.
